The sound file I created for this project aspired to synthesize a mood of looming confusion and a state of chemically induced relaxation. The various clips used within it, were chosen according to the moods they initially induced and the relation that had to the memory. The scenario I modeled the project after, is the appendicitis operation I had four years ago. During the operation, brief periods of consciousness interrupted the empty void the anaesthetics created. Whether the blurbs of perception were imaginary or not, the memory of them caused great confusion when I came to, as well as brief, unexplainable terror.

I chose to use sound04 in order to embody the noises being made in the operation room during the procedure. They were unnoticed, but still remained in my subconscious. I hope the muffled nature of this sound portrays that to the listener. Otherwise, a greatly slowed down sound08 was used to exemplify the ominous relaxation, while a couple of sound09 snippets portrayed the contrast of the interruptions and the confusion they would soon cause.
